Site Location & Information
Elchenburg Castle is a fairly primitive site and those with mobility challenges should be prepared. There is limited access to electricity. Contact the autocrat to reserve camping space close to outlets for medical machines.
This is a wet site, modern laws concerning alcohol apply, violation is cause for being put off site.
All animals are welcomed so long as they are restrained (leash, crate, etc). We don't require you bring vaccination papers but if your animal is involved in any sort of issue where someone or another animal is bitten, the authorities will require proof of vaccinations.
We only require that you keep your animals under control so we don't have to involve the authorities or medical staff and restrained so they don't become inadvertent moving targets on the range.
Ground fires are allowed but must be filled in. The leach field will be marked.
DO NOT DRIVE ON THE LEECH FIELD!
Site opens at 5 pm Friday April 21 and closes at Noon on Sunday April 23.
Anyone there before that time or after closing will be treated as staff and put to work.
